Basically, one of the calculations is a simple divide of one cell by another cell. However, that does not mean you should wrap each and every formula with error handling. That would anyway lead to wrong results even in cases when the result is not an error. In which situations you may want to use Excel iferror. IFNA Introduced with Excel 2013, IFNA is one more function to check a formula for errors. We have data in Sheet 1 from which we excel iferror to update the information in another data and sheet 2 where we want to update the data. Error Using IFERROR in Excel Suppose, we have two numbers in cell A2 and A3 and we want to divide value of cell A by value cell B.
